The Coffee Klatch books Apostrophe

Apostrophe will participate in The Coffee Klatch, an interactive forum on Blog Talk Radio and Twitter, in August and September.

Founded by Marianne Russo, The Coffee Klatch features expert guests, including award winning authors, psychiatrists, psychologists, therapists, advocates, celebrity activists and representatives from the world’s most respected children’s foundations.

Russo created The Coffee Klatch to give parents of special needs children a forum to find and share the best resources and information available.

“Empowering parents of children with disabilities has been my goal,” she says. “What you see is not always what you get. I encourage you to dig deep, always searching for answers and never give up hope. I have spent the past ten years researching the organic basis of anxiety and depressive disorders in children and adolescents.”

She is working on a book for special needs parenting, —  “a survival guide for the difficult journey,” she calls it.

Her special interests are endocrinology, immunology and early onset mental illness.

Apostrophe will be part of a chat on Aug. 18. We’ll participate in blog talk (radio) on Sept.18. at 9 p.m. est.
