Blissful Bedrooms transforms personal spaces

Because of their lack of mobility and independence and decreased opportunities in society, some young people with physical challenges spend a great amount of time in their bedrooms.

Blissful Bedrooms wants to help make their lives better.

The not-for-profit organization, composed entirely of volunteers, is dedicated “to empowering, supporting and enhancing the quality of life of young individuals with disabilities, both inside and outside of their bedrooms.”

“Our mission is to transform the personal spaces of young individuals who have limited resources, and various physical disabilities that make them wheelchair dependent and highly reliant on others for activities of daily living,” said Martha Gold-Dvorayadkin, director of the New York-based program.
